Alternative Payment Options
Other than Credit Card or Check:
Notes:
- Once you've completed the payment, make sure to go back to the '42 Year Reunion' to 'Complete Registration'.
- Choose 'Check by mail' payment option and ignore the instructions to mail a check.
- These instructions assume you're already familiar with these alternate payment methods and are not intended to teach you how to set up the process.
1) PayPal
1a) Click the PayPal 'Buy Now' button

These instructions assume you have a PayPal account.
After signing on to PayPal:
- Choose “Send & Request” from the top menu or the “Send” from the “Summary” page.
- On the “Send” page, under “Send money” in the “Name, email or mobile number” enter ‘southwest80@comcast.net’ (without quotes).
- Click on the “Next” button.
- On the next page enter the amount, an optional note, and update your address as necessary.
- Click on the “Continue” button.
- Click on the “Send Payment Now” button.
2) Venmo
2a) Scan the Venmo QR Code

2b) Manual Venmo Instructions
These instructions assume you have a Venmo account.
- Open the Venmo app
- Either scan the above QR code and make the payment OR
- Choose "Pay or Request" and
- In the "Add Recipients" enter @southwest80 and choose "return"
- Enter the amount and choose "Pay"
3) Zelle Instructions
Notes:
- These instructions assume your bank supports Zelle. Click here to see a list of banks that support Zelle. Check before proceeding.
- These instructions use Wells Fargo's implementation of Zelle as an example but should be similar for any bank that supports Zelle.
- These instructions assume you’ve already set up your Wells Fargo bank account to send Zelle payments. If you haven’t set up Zelle yet, please follow the easy setup instructions – See Zelle® – Send and Receive Money at Wells Fargo. If you have questions, email southwest80@comcast.net for help.
3a) Zelle - Web Browser Instructions
These instructions are using online banking using a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Firefox, Safari, etc.) at Wells Fargo bank as the sending bank account.
When you “Add Recipient” enter the following:
- In “First name” enter ‘Southwest Class of 1980’ (without quotes).
- Leave the “Last name” blank.
- You may enter an optional “Nickname”.
- In “Your preferred name” it should default to your name. Correct it if necessary so we know who the payment is coming from.
- In “Send by”, change to “Email address”.
- In “Email address” enter ‘southwest80@comcast.net’ (without quotes).
- Click “Save & Send Money” button.
You should now see this “Recipient” (‘Southwest Class of 1980’) in your list of “Recipients” and can select it to “Send Money” as usual.

3b) Zelle - App Instructions
These instructions are for using the Wells Fargo app (iOS or Android).
- Choose the Zelle option at the bottom of the page
- Click Recipients.
- In the "Search name, phone, or email" enter "southwest80@comcast.net" (all lowercase without the quotes", then click on the "Add southwest80@comcast.net" link.
- Enter the "Reipient's name" - "First name" as "Southwest Class of 1980" and leave the "Last name" blank.
- Click "Add Done
You should now see this “Recipient” in the list of “Your recipients” and be able to select it and “Send” money.
4) Cash App
4a) Cash App via web
- In a web browser, go to cash.app/$southwest80 and follow instructions.
4b) Cash App via $CASHTAG
- Open the Cash App
- Enter the amount to pay
- Click 'Pay'
- In the 'To', enter $southwest80
- In the 'For', enter 40 Year Reunion
- Click 'Pay'
4c) Scan Cash App QR Code
