05/22/22 Meeting Notes

Attendees: Paul Barber, June Breneman, Bob Stein, Jimmy
Jahoda, Nancy Rose, Christi Siegel and Veronica legan

1. Registration:
—43 from class of ’80
—25 from class of ’81
—Need about a dozen more to break even
—goal is to avoid tapping into $1,500 reserve
—Paul has continued posts on FB; will add new promo video
—Need to encourage folks to register ahead for food planning
—Classmates to Contact Spreadsheet sent with classmates to contact personally
—all committee members encouraged to reach out
—mark on Classmates to Conctact spreadsheet if contacted

2. Fun Committee/Activities:
—Margaret: trivia game
—June: photo booth
—needs signs for elementary schools, photo of SWHS
—Jimmy: has pompoms, will take photo of school (?)
—Nancy suggested memorabilia table and will bring some items
—suggested to place near music listening area
—Jimmy suggested we make “pep style” posters to hang at venue
3. Memorials:
—Simple printout of memorial pages from class websites
—Flowers, candle
4. Food and Venue:
—Get final numbers after June 15 price increase
—Food orders placed about 2 weeks ahead
—Food committee may want to meet early in July
—Decor to include flowers, pompoms; venue can supply candles
— (Veronica and Christi have vases)
—Clarify who will be in charge of ordering cake (Kris?)

5. Video Promo:
—Bob, Jimmy, and June will make additional video promo
6. Next Meeting: Zoom, Sunday June 26 at 4pm (Veronica isn’t available
so Nancy will chair)
—Objective is to finalize logistics for day of event, etc
