02/27/2022 Meeting Notes

 

 

1. Save the date emails sent for ’80; Nancy to send to ’81 this week—Margaret to post on fb SWACers page

—Betsy to send jpeg for posting on personal fb pages

 

 

2. Invitations to be sent out week of 3/19

 

—Need details/link for hotel discounts

 

—Need to add links for PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card

 

 

3. Paul to reopen registration

 

—Jimmy, Margaret, & Wai will do trials on CC , PayPal and Venmo

 

—Veronica will add check app

 

 

4. Reminders will be sent out 1 week before price-break deadlines (May 1, June 15, July 1)

 

—Will send other emails as needed, e.g. regarding finding missing classmates

 

 

5. General discussion of financial assistance donations and awards:

 

—Consensus to offer unlimited donation to assist "classmates who may not otherwise be able to attend”

 

—Funds will be available “first come, first served”

 

—Veronica and possibly Nancy will be the “point person” so folks asking for assistance can remain anonymous

 

— Paul, Nancy and Veronica will finalize details; focus on neutral language, privacy for those requesting funds

 

 

6. Discussion re: Party Crashers/late arrivals:

 

—Look for volunteers for door monitors maybe from another class 

 

—Ensure there is food for the entire event

There will also be 2 people from '81 joining comittees, Robert Granadin for Communications and Barb Hayes for the Fun.

 

8. Update from Bob on Hotel Details - Bob is going to meet with Hotel staff this week for additional information.  He will also get Room Discount Link back up and running for the invitations.  

 

We requested that Bob set up a tour of the facilities for anyone who would like to join in April.  Will be discussed at next meeting.
